It’s that time of the year again, it’s time to Capture the Colour. Last year’s contest by Travel Supermarket was such a success, that they’re running a second contest to give you the chance to win some amazing prizes.
It’s also a great way to bring the online travel community together. We love browsing the amazing photographers work out there on the Internet and it’s time to let your travel photos shine.
The URL that the competition page will sit on is the same as last year - we will be uploading the new content in time for launch on the 14th August.

The Rules:
The Process is Simple, showcase five of your favourite travel snaps which truly capture the colour of the five photo categories of red, blue, green, yellow and white. I’ll be judging Green.
My Example Post:
You may not have a clue where to start, so all of the judges have put together their own sample post explaining what they will be looking for. I chose five of my favourite photos that capture the colours and to help you choose your own. See my example post from last year too! Once you have posted your five photos, nominate five people who you would like to see colourful photographs from. Let Travel Supermarket know by including a link to their contest page. I have my five nominations at the bottom of the photos along with a little overview of what I’ll be looking for when choosing the winner of the Green Category and helping to choose the overall winner.

What I’m Looking for
How I’ll be Judging: When choosing my travel photos I will be looking for ones that don’t really scream those colours but used them effectively to bring the photo to life. I am looking for in the photos is a unique way for you to express the colours. Each colour should be an element of the photograph and not dominate the whole scene. I am looking for something beyond the clichés like a red sunset, blue sky or yellow flowers. For me originality will always take precedence over a pretty photograph.
